BIO: Beginning her pursuit of an acting career at the tender age of 4, Alyson Hannigan first appeared in commercials for Oreos, Six Flags, and McDonald's. She guest-starred in a couple of television shows including Picket Fences, Roseanne, Touched by an Angel, and The Torkelsons.
It was her role as Willow Rosenberg in Buffy the Vampire Slayer, though, that really gave her the recognition she deserved. After that, she landed roles in films aimed at teenage audiences such as American Pie, American Pie 2, American Wedding, and Boys and Girls. She also plays Lily in the TV show How I Met Your Mother, and repeatedly did a guest role as Trina Echolls in Veronica Mars. February 2006 had her starring as Julia Jones in Date Movie.
